Reading progress update: I've read 38%.
I think I'd enjoy this much more if I were a teenaged boy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy fart jokes and gory grossness just as much as the next twisted person. I'm not enjoying the vast number of penis jokes and I'm really don't appreciate the regular use of "retarded" to describe various people or situations the same way I don't appreciate the use of "gay" in the same scenarios.
The story, itself, is pretty interesting but I highly doubt I'd pick up another by this author if this is his standard style. I'll finish this one though. Mostly because I need that "J" title.
