The Book Thief - Markus Zusak

I know that I'll eventually be reduced to a sobbing pile of mush but, for right now, I'm enjoying reading about the relationship between Liesel and the Hubermanns - particularly Hans. I wish everyone had a father like him.

I'm listening to the audio book mostly but can't help going back to the ebook to see what extra stuff I've missed - like the drawing of Liesel without eyes that Hans drew during one of their midnight reading lessons.

I don't want to be heartbroken by this book but I can't turn away now.
